They begin when you want to put films into your camera - they smell of chemicals. Conventional photographing also involves the developing of films in labs; a great source of poisonous contamination. If you are very privileged, you can tolerate the photos when they come back from the lab - but most of the Chemical Sensitivity-sufferers are not this lucky.
